I wrote you a long email that included my wish to register for the Mar 22 Open Mike with a true story entitled Worst Moments. I am also donating two copies of my latest book Where Were You?, a compilation of stories about the Elliot Lake mall collapse written by townspeople themselves. That email is somewhere in my hard drive’s limbo land, so if you did get it, good!, and if not, this is my registration. Other people from Elliot Lake are attending as well, but will register on their own.

It was so great to have you at the Open Mike Gloria! Congratulations on your win and thanks so much for your generosity in donating your book for a door prize.
You’re welcome! You people all rock! We feel so at home when we visit your group–got an extra room? We’ll wash dishes. Just kidding. What we are doing is meeting today and we will be talking about undertaking an Open Mike event, We already have a venue donated and that is a big part of the problem of putting on events. The places are too bloody expensive for small clubs. But I will keep you posted–you have all planted a seed and we’ve got a garden begging to grow one here. It is pretty exciting stuff.
